This agreement applies to everyone who submits scores or audio files for sale or free distribution on Vivaldi Scores (also known as Vivaldi Notes). Submitting a product means you accept these terms.
1. Rights and copyright
You must own the rights to the material you upload, or hold legal permission to sell or share it — including arrangements of works by other composers. Unauthorized copyrighted material is removed, and repeat violations lead to permanent account suspension.
2. Moderation
Every submission — paid or free, new or edited — is reviewed by our editors before publication. Nothing is published automatically. Low-quality, incomplete, misleading, or mislabeled products (wrong composer, wrong difficulty, wrong instrument, unreadable PDF, corrupted MP3, unclear cover) may be rejected with a reason, and may be resubmitted after correction.
3. Seller statuses
All registered users may submit free products for review. Selling paid products requires an approved seller account — apply via the contact form (topic: “Seller application”). The “Verified Seller” badge is assigned by Vivaldi Scores administration only. Suspended or banned accounts cannot upload, edit, or request payouts.
4. Commission and earnings
Vivaldi Scores charges a 5% platform commission on seller sales. Payment provider fees — including possible ePoint processing fees — are separate and are not part of the platform commission. Example: sale price $10.00 → platform commission $0.50 → seller earning before payment provider fees $9.50.
5. Payouts
Earnings accumulate in your seller balance. The minimum payout amount is 20 USD. During the launch phase, payout requests are reviewed and processed manually; you will be notified by email at every step.
6. Licenses you grant to buyers
Buyers receive the license type shown on the product page (default: personal use only). You authorize Vivaldi Scores to deliver your files to buyers under that license and to display your cover image and product metadata in the catalog and in marketing of the platform.
7. Taxes
Sellers are responsible for their own tax obligations in their country or region. Vivaldi Scores does not provide tax, legal, or financial advice.
8. Age and legal capacity
Sellers must be legally able to enter agreements, or act with parent/guardian or representative permission where required. Vivaldi Scores may restrict seller features for users who cannot legally accept seller terms.
9. Removal and changes
Vivaldi Scores may reject, suspend, or remove any product at its discretion — including in response to copyright complaints or quality reports — and may update this agreement; the current version is always published on this page.
